From the everyday cranked espag to a period monkey-tail, our window handles are available in a range of styles and finishes — all lockable, all weather-tested, and chosen to operate smoothly with the locking systems in the windows we supply.
The most common handle on modern uPVC and aluminium casement windows. The cranked stem clears the frame and drives the espagnolette multi-point lock, pulling the sash tight against its seals when you turn it down.
Lockable — keyed barrel for child safety and security.
Espag drive — pulls the sash tight for a weather seal.
Cranked clearance — comfortable grip away from the frame.
A straight, flush-stem espag handle for a slimmer, more contemporary profile. Sits closer to the sash for a clean look on flush casements and aluminium frames — same secure multi-point locking, less visual weight.
Slim profile — a low, flush stem for a minimal look.
Lockable — keyed security as standard.
Co-ordinated — finishes to match doors and hardware.
A traditional pear-shaped lever that lends period charm to timber and casement windows. The peardrop sits flush against the frame and pairs with a casement fastener, combining a classic profile with a comfortable, easy turn.
Period profile — the classic pear-shaped lever for traditional homes.
Comfortable grip — sits flush to the frame with an easy, natural turn.
Lockable option — keyed security available across the finish range.
For homes with traditional or period character, our heritage window handles offer timeless appeal. Designed to evoke classic styles like the monkey tail or teardrop, they blend authentic looks with modern lockable security.
Authentic styling — monkey-tail and teardrop designs.
Classic finishes — antique brass and polished chrome.
Modern security — period detail, lockable mechanism.
From bright white to deep antique black, our Hardex finishes are colour-fast and weather-resistant, matched across windows, doors and hardware for a co-ordinated look throughout your home.
Manufactured to high standards for durability, weather resistance and long-term performance.
Keyed handles add child safety and a meaningful deterrent on every accessible window.
Our team helps you choose the right handle type, style and colour for every window in the house.
Chosen for compatibility and a perfect fit with the espag locking in the windows we install.
Stiffness usually points to the espag mechanism or hinges needing adjustment or lubrication, rather than the handle itself.
On the windows we supply, handle and lock are matched and adjusted on fitting, and we can advise on servicing existing windows.
Yes. Every handle we fit comes with a keyed locking option as standard, adding child safety and a clear deterrent on accessible windows. Keys can be matched across the house so one key fits every handle.
Yes. Each handle style is offered in the same range of finishes, so cranked, inline and heritage handles can all share one colour and look. We can also co-ordinate them with your door hardware for a consistent finish throughout.
A cranked handle has a stem that steps away from the frame, giving a comfortable grip and clearance for your fingers. An inline handle sits flush and straight for a slimmer, more contemporary profile. Both drive the same multi-point espag lock.
Usually, yes. A loose handle is often a fixing screw that has worked free, which is a quick tightening job. If the spindle or mechanism is worn we can replace the handle and check the lock it drives at the same time.
